... Like I could just die with a purpose.
We read about love. We see it in movies.
But it's so rare to encounter someone in real life that makes you feel deeply in thought over what they say to you:
"Not one day goes by without me missing or thinking of her."
I could of cried when I heard this because I KNEW it was real.
The question is: Did she?
We get sad over stories that are invented by our human minds; and I stop and care to think about all the people that end up losing someone in real life? Whether to someone else or to something else (whatever that might be). Love grows founder. But is that the ultimate task of love? Loss? Having to let go?
"You shouldn't make people a necessity..."
- Just in case they have to embark in another journey.
But how wonderful it is, to do so?
Having someone that moves you, makes you a better person, brings out the best in you, someone that doesn't need you to go down memory lane or doesn't tell you what to do because you can take care of yourself without no ones supervision. Someone that tells you how much you move them, how you change them, how you make them a man/woman, just by loving them.
Someone that is eternally grateful to you.
It's when you are sad, unsure or you have no faith... and you see yourself through their eyes. And you see how much of a honor it is to be who you are... and the privilege to have met them.
It's feeling lucky. It's being someone's life...
... And if that person departs, your life falls to dust. To chaos.
Nothing matters... Because Everything is gone.
Seeing & listening to someone that has once loved talking about their lost one, it's like listening to sigur ros. It gives you hope to have found them, but it's all so sad.
You can almost see the love in their eyes, I'm sure I just didn't try hard enough.
You sense it in your skin every time their voice trembles...
... all there is left are memories? No. It's love!
To a friend out there that is having a hard time today...
Let me tell you:
Don't be sad. Do not. You should not be sad.
Because it is better to love and lose than not loving at all.
