~ Lived a Tornado Touch Down ~

This post is not going to be long!
I just wanted to post, to remember... one day.
Yesterday night (11/06/2008), there was a Tornado warning.

Unlike last week, that they hit all around me,
BUT didn't quite hit the city where I'm at...
... This time, there was a TORNADO TOUCH DOWN!

Started with NO NOISE. Whatsoever.
(I remember looking out the window and saying
"Blah, no wind, it's not going to even be here" - 5 seconds later
I was grabbing a blanket, a pillow, notebook, flashlight, etc) LOL!!

I also thought my neighbors were vacuuming before it started!
(That part was funny.. I thought I was going crazy);

On the radio they said it this morning, and they said it really well:
We always hear it on the news, we watch it in the movies,
But seriously? Even being on a tornado alley, we never really think
it's really going to happen? And so fast? And you have nothing at hand?

IT'S CRAZY. Such a bad feeling inside.
The lightening, was crazy... it's suppose to be 1000 and some seconds apart. The sky was constantly pink... (it was so creepy)!

4 people died. Lots of them injured.
Some houses, GONE!
(like, not even a little bit... I mean, THE WHOLE HOUSE!)
Cars thrown around... trees yanked!
Schools got hit... all of them are damaged.

It touched down in Salina... stopped there!
Touched down in Junction City... stopped there!
Touched down in Manhattan... stopped there!

THE TORNADOES WERE GOING "LOCOS" (spanish for crazy) lol

It was 1 mile and a half wide! (the tornado)
And it was an F4 (worse is a F5)

Rob (my "godfather") left a message on the phone:
"They are touching all south from you but go downstairs, with a blanket..."
What he meant was... they are going your way! He just said it in a nice way!
But I didn't get too worried...

Funny, is I had several people calling in order for me to go...
... to the bathroom DOWNSTAIRS, with a blanket and a pillow over my head!
But I'm stubborn, I stayed upstairs the whole time... playing XBOX360!
... Until THE LIGHTS STARTED GOING OFF, EVERY 2 SECONDS!
And the scary part, the scary part... you want to know?
THE SIRENS...

You DO NOT want to hear those "bitches" at 10pm!
Especially if it's the ones around your house...
It was like some Silent Hill "shit" (no joke) LOL

I'm not even going to lie, I was scared.
'Cause I was alone.
And the noise, and the sirens just make you even more nervous.
Then there's the risk of getting hurt...
Or all your clothes and shoes that are in the upstairs floor to be gone... (funny but true)
But if I thought that I was going to die?
Not even for a second. Why? (you probably wonder)

1st: Vanessa, sounds SO MUCH better than Dorothy (I'd sue my mom if I had that name!)
2nd: I'm so much prettier than the bitch!
3rd: My red shoes, are so much BETTER, EXPENSIVE and PROVOCATIVE! (lol)
4th: "There's no place like home (bis)" ... like WHAT THE FUCK? Where's the ORIGINALITY IN THAT? At least I made my shit sound like some "blair witch project" scene:

"Oh my god, it's happening. What's that? Oh it's here... AHHHHH!"

Anyways, this is my horrific story.
Hope you enjoyed it.

P.S.: I was being such a drama queen, all my friends on Xbox360 were WORRIED! Especially after watching the news, they all left messages ... (You don't want to hear me scared, the funniest thing EVER!)

P.S.2: I kept on singing the whole time, not to hear the thunder... and tried my best not to keep looking out the window! ('cause like I said, the sky was creepy.)

P.S.3: Even after it was gone, I was so afraid, I couldn't fall asleep, and every time I closed my eyes, 1 minute later, I was opening them! Fell asleep at 4am... 6:30am I was up and around.

P.S.4: I was hungry yesterday, but I didn't dare to go to the kitchen and grab something the whole time; AND I'M STILL HUNGRY!
So ... I'm out.

P.S.5: Remember in the beginning of the post what I wrote? (you don't? Neither did I);
"This post is not going to be long" - LIES!!! (lol)
